Active Directory replication is a critical process that ensures all domain controllers have the most up-to-date information about objects and attributes in the Active Directory database. However, there are situations quite a few situations when you need to kick off the replication manually, such as:
- Troubleshooting a Group Policy Objects
- It is the middle of the night and you want to go to bed
- When you’re not sure replication is ever going to work on its own
- You have just tried something new and want to see if it is even going to work
